A long, hot Summer requires a soundtrack to help us all along – and here, somewhat belatedly, given that we now seem to be cooling down a tad, is the SUMMER RELEASE from THE BLOKES – PATH OF THE GODS.

For once the delay is not down to the band’s tardiness or lack of organisational skills – and we can’t even blame our agent! No, the truth is that the track was embargoed by the organising committee of the Festival di Napoli. We had entered it for the Premi di Musica Italiana (categoria Promozioni Turistiche) but have just been informed that it has not been shortlisted for consideration by the judges – so although we are obviously gutted, we can at least now release the song!
